just a little video i put together that takes you from going to buying bait to driving to the beach to kayaking the bait out to catching a shark.. ended up with a 79.5 inch black tip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WF17xyDns0

Cool video. I like the idea that you captured the whole day. I'd recommend making it a little shorter by cutting out some of the extra stuff out.

One thing you really should do differently is start putting your weight and bait behind your seat. That could end up being a really dangerous situation if you tipped or the line came tight and you had a bonita stuck in your face with a 14/0 j hook.

yeahhhhh i just dont have a way to secure the bait when i dont put the weight in front of me but my spider weights have legs that i actually secure under my leg so that i can feel tension when the stop me on shore i dont just drop the baits when im ready whoever is holding the reel on shore gives me a tension signal...

And we fish out of panama city beach Florida i know this is a texas forum but i still like to come here and look around

black tips are reportedly great eating. Personally, I'll pass.
