Jason,
Heres a few screen grabs off the gopro. That fish turned my Yak almost 160 degrees really fast. Deric said he saw all the way back in the fishes mouth. rolfmao

Normally that would have killed me to loose a fish like that, but the way things were going, it didn't bother me much at all.

My brother and I saw you all last Friday afternoon. I was in the Hobie Pro-Angler and my brother was in the Jackson Big Rig. We were driving the Toyota Tacoma with the bed rack.

Looks like you all faired better than us and had a great weekend! Maybe we can meet up sometime. Thank you for the video and pictures.

Yah we saw you guys unloading. I mentioned to Deric that I thought there was a PA and a Big Rig. We were in the afternoon hunt mode at that time and moving around alot trying some old Holes.

I don't blame you. I'd have stayed in the hunt too!

That was only the second time I've ever fished Ivie. The first time was about 6 years ago. I just moved back to San Angelo after being gone for twenty years. Looking to many more trips out there.

Congratulations guys! People don't luck out and have days on the water like that, you've got skill! It's just coincidence, I'm headed to Ivie tomorrow to fish Saturday and maybe some of Sunday. I'll be in a camo Big Rig.

I've started making my own baits and I have a new mold, 6.5" craw worm, that I'm dying to try out! I'll keep you guys posted, I too will be running cameras. I've only been on Ivie once, lost a big one in the trees, 7-8# I'd guess when she jumped. I'm just going to be cruising around looking for a bite, I'm not real keen on how to fish lakes (I usually fish rivers) but I can't wait to give it a whirl!

Thanks for posting.

Brady

Mike, Dericto say that you guys have set the bar high is an understatement, especially when you consider this venue (TFF) which includes the likes of Matt, Jason, Robbie and Shane(and plenty others). Pretty sure you both now own the latest (and ever-changing) bragging rights. Congrats.

On a side note, I couldnt help but chuckle at the bass boat idling by as you caught fish. It occurs to me that kayak fishing now has the attention of a lot of the boat-bound bass anglers, and you two now have the attention of a lot of the kayak fisherman. Not bad for a couple of the old farts. bolt
