Anyone know if any public boat ramps in Hunt, TX to put in some bass buster boats? We are hoping to do a weekend camping trip up in that area. Any info would be appreciated. I tried to google this but it was not much help.

So many river crossings along 39. People go tubing everywhere over there. There's a few lakes with cabins and such back towards kerrville. Bass busters won't be fun in the fast water. I'd be willing to say you will find what your looking for,but with all the road crossings and dams along that stretch, your not going to go far from the truck if you know what I mean. Pretty country, just explore and see what you come up with. I had plans to rent from river run cabins($100) there and take kids to play in faster water and fish the lake in the evenings.they rent campsites too for $15 the website says.

Everything I saw when I was down in Hunt looked like it could just be waded. There was a few holes that looked like it could be over a man's head but nothing that was big enough to really bother with a bass buster. May be more water in it now tho.

Ingram and kville is your best shot. Great for bass buster. In Ingram the ramp is just up river from the Damn store. In kville ramp next to Chilies or another up river at the bridge next to Lake House restaraunt I think.
