anyone going to bother to fish in this weather? How do you feel the crappie fishing will be( in these conditions)? Thanks!

When my knee scooter arrives Thursday I will be fishing my slip the rest of the week, regardless of what I catch, even if I fish between rain showers. It's only been mid-March since my last fishing day but it seems as if it has been forever.

Thursday. West is best. 10mph. Mostly sunny. High around 80.

The crappie were bitting great yesterday evening. Shallow water 4', the little males would drive you crazy catching them. Fish were scattered in all depths, fish were suspended at all depth and fish were on the bottom. Fish seemed to be on the move and in a feeding frenzy. No true pattern. Wade fishing you would have no problem catching fish.

i have been busy with other things but they bit very well from the bank the last 3 days 2 different places ...lots of large fish included a close friend saw a young boy with a monster crappie on his homemade stringer yesterday on the bank to be sure it were not a whale ! it was quite EASILY over 3 pounds and a black crappie at that ! my bud took 16 large fish from that spot in about an hour .... he donated them to the young man because needed a few to add to his one monster fish .... some places still have good bank ketchn .... the spots I mentioned all have the same thing in common 9 foot plus of water close to the bank and that's where the larger fish seem to be hangin best of luck to ya
