I was out on Lake Lavon last Sunday to test a few lures for bass and crappie and this is what I found out;

1) Wind was blowing out of the south 15-25 mph.
2) Water temp at the dam was about 72 degree
3) Crappie was in about 8-10 feet
4) Bait - 1/16 oz Road Runner (chartreuse or pink) with Lake Fork baby magic shad.
5) 6 lbs line is a must!
6) Bass was in about 1-5 feet (worm)

Cast and reel the bait in slow (must bump bottom).
