Log Cabin or the public ramp at Caney City might be your best place, Also Fishermans Wharf, It's a bit closer to the dam,

Dons Port can be used, don't let a few comments scare you off. It is a bit tight on busy days though. He now charges $10 to launch.

Log Cabin or Caney are the better ramps. To many negative reports bout Dons port. Went to launch at F Wharf a few months ago, because I had never been there, and it was closer to the dam. Decided not to, spooky, and abandoned looking. Good luck

Go to Log Cabin. Stay to the left hand side or middle of tall bridge heading out. The only negative is there is always some kind of bass tourney launching out of Log Cabin. If you go at daybreak or weigh in time, it gets crowded at the ramp.

update** went too dons port sunday morning and talked to the owner and his dad they are good people it was one misunderstanding that lead to the negative reports the man just wants people to be honest and pay for the launches and if they are not open at the moment when you launch pay when you get back as most of us do when we go out there. on another note the lake was ROUGH with that being an understatement!! had a great day on the water none the less ended up with 30 fish in the boat with a hybrid going almost eight pounds
