Does anyone else think the cats will be spawning after this rain? Are the cats even worth fishing in the neches?

We were on the Neches river this weekend. didn't have time to catfish though we were just looking for gar. The river was pretty muddy after the rain but I don't know how it will affect the catfishing

It has been my experience this time of year when the river comes up the catfish turn it on. Some of the best fishing around.

Yeah we bowfish also but was just wondering bout the cats. Thanks for the info. May have to try after the creek slows down a lil
