We are using slip corks set at about 2 feet with shrimp or punch bait. Really... just about anything will work right now.. Cast up close to the rocks and hold on.

Another way we catch them is going weightless with a circle hook baited with shrimp. Cast up next to the rocks and make sure you've got a good grip on your rod. They will yank it outta your hand if your not paying attention. It's alot of fun on ultra light tackle.

I went out early afternoon both days and they pretty much bite they whole time I was there. It was was very windy both days (25-30mph gusts) and the fish were hiting hard. Like thump my jig said, hold on to that pole because they are very aggressive now. Had several swallow my treble hook when they took the bait. I'll be back out this weekend also. Weather report shows high winds both Saturday and Sunday...should be good fishing.

Now that's a mess of good eatin!
