Thanks guys, love the replies I didn't ask one question I should have. Is the ride for the most part dry.

I'm on my second 921, I really like them. I like the new Ranger 521's too.

The console is not an issue, it will not come loose, I fish Rayburn. 921's do good in the big water and run pretty good for a big boat.

I've been in quite a few 20-21 ft boats, Bass Cats, Tritons, Stratos, Nitros, I Class Skeeters and the SX or whatever the other 21 ft Skeeter is. I have not been in a new 521 but I really like them.

I like Phoenix the best. I'm not much on Skeeters, they fish good, but don't like the way they ride. Bass Cat is a good boat also. I fish a tournament on Toledo out of Stratos a while back and it did good in the big water, it also got up on top and ran like a scalded dog. I was surprised how solid it road, had never been in one before.

I haven't been in a Legend, but I like them too. I saw a really big dual console Bullet at Rayburn the other day, it had to be 22 ft long, it looked huge, it looked like a good boat too.

Thanks, Billy

I know a guy with a 921 for sale:)
I'm in my 4th Phoenix and haven't had any issues with them at all. My customers have all been very pleased with the ride and how well it fishes in big water. Get that test ride and just see if it's right for you.

couple of things I forgot,

I think the 2015's don't have the lazy Susan which I like. I've taken the rollers off the lazy Susan's on both the 921's I've had and fixes the noise when you turn it. They roll better without the rollers then with them.

The reason the battery compartment is small is because the fuel tank is located forward behind the seats. Its plenty big for everything that needs to be in there. That's the reason the rear storage is large.

One of the reasons I bought the boat was the seats and they are adjustable and I'm a big guy and it has plenty of room and they are comfortable for me.

Phoenix is selling a lot of boats and they have a good price point if money is an object.

Thanks, Billy

Guys, I crawled all over the boat Saturday, under it checked out the trailer how the boat set on the trailer etc. etc. The guy at the dealership probably thought I was undercover from the factory with all the questions. I will just have to take the test ride/drive and see for myself. Phoenix being the new kid on the block in high end boats just would like as much info as I get. I am liking what I'm hearing. Neches if your serious send me a pm.

They definately take rough water good. My buddy has a 920 went out on Toledo last summer one night fishing knew it was a bit choppy but when we got back in early that morning all the other guys asked if we ran the main lake we said yes from Louisiana over to Texas side why they all came back in said it was to bad if it was that 920 made it seem like nothing. Definately will be my next boat for sure.

I just recently bought a Phoenix 921, and it handles rough water better than any boat I have ever been in. I had a puma before it, and thought it was a great ride until I climbed into the Phoenix, I live here on Oklahoma, and fish Lake Eufaula frequently, if the wind was up over 20mph that puma stayed put close to where ever I launched from, but with the Phoenix I have made plenty of 20 mile long runs with over 20mph winds... no issues at all, very dry also. Love the Phoenix, and the fish ability is awesome.

I road in the phoneix with Gary Clouse/Owner of Phoenix Boats at the PAA on Hubbard. It is the best laid out boat in my opion. If I had a choice of a boat it would be a Phoenix.

Thanks,

This boat in my sig. I have owned several boats, but this boat by far handles big water very well. The seat are comfortable , and has many options and upgrades from my previous boats. IMO , Phoenix boats are one of the best out there.

Huck that's one nice looking Bullet I just have no desire to run 90 mph. heck I doubt I run much over 60 most of the time. A few years ago when I thought I had to be there quickly I would have Bullet now I just want room and comfort and moderately High speed when I need it. I may start fishing a tourney circuit when I start slowing down on the work scene and then maybe I'll go with a go fast boat. If your ever down on lake Palestine give a shout I'm just a couple miles from the dam, would love to ride in it.

That Bullet would probably be more functional with a trolling motor. Maybe they take it off for photo ops.

Not mine, just the one I want. 2014 XRS is not just a fast boat anymore, read here http://bulletxrs.com/
