I will be in Austin a few days May 19-21. I am bringing my boat and am interested in fishing Lady Bird. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

there is a ramp that you can launch bass boats from right next to i35

Google Map to Ramps

But I will warn you, the lake is electric motors only (you will see row teams out there with chase boats using gas motors, but they are EXEMPT!!! they have special permits to run their big motors, and you will definitely get a ticket running your big motor even on idle)

The best fishing as far as I am concerned, is a ways up the lake towards Austin Highschool, and that is about a 3 mile ride on your trolling motor.

Lake Austin or Decker Lake are your other options. Both are really good lakes!

Also, make sure you don't forget that Ladybird is a slot lake laugh
