Buffalo is good to eat? I thought people just used them for crawfish bait and stuff like that?

LOL, Geez when did TFF turn into nothing but blog trolls? (nothing better to do...) Any who the "Tilapia", "Blue" "Gill" "Bream" was eaten. As far as management is concerned, I can conclude by the ignorance of multiple posts that zero of the commenters have ever experienced over population and or the devastation of an unbalanced food chain. For those of you conspiracy theorists who obviously know what I did with my own fish I say, keep that to politics. Troll on dudes.. LOL

Weclome to the forum. You legally shot some fish with a bow, good job. It's a free country as long as they don't make a law against it. Enjoy and do what you like!

TFF folks always has been anti bowfishing. Plenty other forums where you can get along with like minded folks.

As far as the no skill goes...LOL...he should try to shoot a bream with a bow! You have a 4" x 6" spot to hit, add light refractions, and the speed of that bream....I'd say it was a fair shot! thumb

Wonder what that Buffalo fillet tasted like, caught one recently and chopped it up as bait for some cats, did not do very well

If it's legal ain't no way in hell it's catch and release, it's CATCH & GREASE, except ROUGH (TRASH) Fish

Buffalo is sold more than catfish at the Louisiana markets. FYI.

You can't keep it in stock.

Told that by a commercial fisherman who did that his whole life.

Gar is also sold.

I used to bowfish. I understand the fun of it, but I'm pretty sure its ILLEGAL to shoot gamefish. Might wanna be careful about which pictures you post up.

Thank you Lord for the gifts in my life

Bluegill aren't classified as gamefish. He's well within his rights to shoot bluegill as well buffalo. Topp7 don't sweat all these trolls who hate on bowfishing. I fish and bowfish and anyone who thinks it doesn't take skill is full of it. I've never once had a R&R fisherman or fisherwoman out on my boat that didn't have an awesome time taking trash fish (or the occasional good eating talipia) off my boat and have a different opinion when we were done. That being said jump over to the bowfishing country forums and post with like minded people.
