 Help.....Bird 997 GPS Stopped Locking Position.

I have an older SI bird and my GPS stopped working. It says connected when I run diagnostics but no longer locks on to satellite. Any testing or tricks anyone knows of to diagnose the between the unit and the receiver? Receiver probably die? Thank you.
