Hey guys I am headed to Houston next weekend. I need some help. I am taking my 16ft flatbottom with a 55hp on it and wanna do a little intercostal spec and red fishing.... I have no Idea where I can take this boat out and be safe.... I willing to drive an hour from Houston.... So can you guys please give me some suggestions. I am taking my nephew that is 12 with me and would like to catch some fish...flounder is cool too...

Launch a clear lake park on nasa. moses lake texas city, Or Dickinson Bayou off 146.

try in Surfside and launch at Bridge bait. Fish the marshes around the ICW or the ICW itself. also [public launches on Bay rd off Blue Water HWY. and by the Coast Guard station

ANy little marsh cut from the bay will hold a flounder or 2.
