Take the wife and kids camping this weekend on Ray Roberts and was just wondering how the sandies were doing? Is there any bird action? Thanks for any info!!

I fished it twice recently and didn't find anything including bait. Some working birds were spotted but they were parked on nothing when I pulled up. Odd I thought. I heard that some fish were found west of the Jordan ramp.

If I was fishing it tomorrow, I would cruse around Johnson, Sand, and Walnut in 25' or so.

They are somewhere and should be getting into a more predictable pattern (at least for me) soon.

Caught a handful in the one to 2.5 pound range just of the SE side of Wolf Island. Firetiger DT 16.
I think they are settling back into the main lake and I have seen a large flock of birds on the hump just north of the IDB fishing pier. They weren't working but they were there for a reason and that was two or three weeks ago ( caught whites last sat).

You might see some ceding action this weekend

Fish in the wind at the peer off the rocks....save your gas;) Wind blown points(excellent aft 2-3 days of strong wind).
