Good news. With last nights rain, Cooper is only 9.94 low. May come up more when all the rain has runoff, but that's high enough to open some ramps.

It's come up more. 8.19' low this morning. Was almost 14' low. I drove across the dam testerday and it looked pretty muddy or should I say stained. Tira boat ramp in usable.

Good to hear. I fished that lake last year right before the water got too low and it is an awesome lake!

No jskin the ramp's are not useable at South Sulphur -- It's going to take alot more rain for them.

Tira is the closest to SS. I think my son is at SS right now. When he gets in I'll find out how the ramps are.

He ended up at Doctors Creek. He said the lake is way up and the ramp is completely usable.

REPORT from South Sulphur Unit at Cooper Lake State Park: Due to recent rains over Cooper Lake and the watershed that feeds its tributaries, the lake has risen approximately 6 in the last three months. Thanks to the rise in water levels, all boat ramps on Cooper Lake are open except John's Creek.

Slim I just wanted to make sure I read your report correctly. That is 6 feet the lake has risen? That is incredible.
