I'm planning on taking my Dad out to Fork on Saturday. Are there still any spawners left? I'm assuming they would be near the dam if there was. Any tips on where to look or other patterns that are working would be appreciated as he doesn't get to fish much. Thanks in advance.

Most have moved off of beds. You can still get lucky though. In my opinion, the shad have already stopped spawning making it a little rough.

Saturday the TTBC is going on out there. There will be quite a few people out there, so be careful if you do go.

You must be fishing a different Fork as there are still a lot on beds. Surprisingly still some big fish on them too. Bite has been excellent all week even with the wind and not just the bed fishing. Overall the bite has been strong in numbers and quality.

I have not seen 1 sign of any shad spawning anywhere within 75 miles of here. I guess I missed the fact they spawned on Fork ....

Looked to be another wave of fish moving up in the more mainlake areas last sat and sun. I caught several off beds Sunday. Shad spawn is just getting started.

What? The beds that had 5 lbers last month have 7s and 8s on them now. There are still fish moving up every day. I've only seen shad spawning in 1 single small cove. The bite has been really good. Numbers have been good, size has been good. Go find a protected cove with some cleaner water and start picking them off.

Good luck!!

I haven't seen jack on beds. But then again with a 20mph wind I haven't seen anything but waves haha

If the forthcoming rains don't muddy up the shallows, there should be some great stringers caught.
