Iv seen them work. I see pros use them. Iv heard from people there really cool to use and others say they would never touch it because it makes fishing to easy. I'm wondering what y'all's thoughts are. It seems that this is what it may take to win some tourneys at this point.

Hard on angler and tackle but they trigger bites from inactive fish and are another tool in the belt.

Use the right set-up and they are a great addition to your arsenal. just like everything else, nothing is guaranteed.

Use an appropriately heavy rod and a 5.1 reel and you can throw one all day!

I keep one at the ready when fishing white bass on my pontoon boat. I load it with grub tail worms. When the whites blow up I just chunk it in there. Yes I catch them 4 at a time. I just pull it in and set it to the side and go to work on them with my other rod with a slab spoon on it. I like single hooks like pet spoons because it is easier and faster to get the hook out of the fish. You can't catch them unless you have a hook back in the water.

Not really any different than any other tool in the arsenal. Nothing magic about it. THere are situations where they work and situations where they don't. Just like drop shotting, c-rigging, t-rigging or any other technique, it's best to have the appropriate gear for that particular technique.

hard to tell when you have have a strike. Use a rod with a faster tip. You'll feel that strike.

I kind of feel ashamed to even think about throwing one. It's just not worth it. Drag a worm, it's just the way to do it.

Heavy and expensive so make sure you got a strong line cause you will get snagged. Better to straighten out a hook than leave your whole rig on the bottom.

ive used them in salt water for raising fish to your baits but would not cast the small freshwater ones. ive watched a few people cast them snag them and loose them. just use a road runner instead of casting 5 at a time.
