New to the area here and looking for some spots to drop in after or before work. Any suggested spots that are open to the public that have had recent success? If you don't wish to disclose your location to the public, feel free to message me. Fishing for fun, catch and release.

Thanks and good luck!

If you go to the bank fishing section you might find a wealth of information there. They discuss bank fishing areas, area ponds, etc that might be in your area. Good luck.

Cottonwood marina, bait shop right there at corner store before the marina if you want minnows, when you park, facing the marina, you can walk or put out left of the marina for cats and LMB around the first point and channels, also drum if you care to target them? and then to the right, walk around to the 2nd or 3rd point facing the main lake body, white/sand bass galore over there, also cats if you're after them, and hybrid/striper towards main lake body if you have the poles to get out there and the shad they want to eat.

Tight lines,
Richard

Thanks for the good input.I'll have to get out there sometime when I have more than a few hours to fish so I can explore. Sounds like good fishing in Little Elm! Cheers!
