My buddy and I just spent a week in Alabama crappie fishing and the day before we came back home we rode through the mountains and drove a 12 mile stretch beside Little River Canyon. It is something to see from about 1200 feet up. [img]http://

BBRF , we went to Cedar Bluff , Al. which is approx. fifteen miles from Rome , Ga. We fished Weiss Lake and were tore up by the wind this week but still caught quite a few and still had a great time. The land is beautiful and the people there make you feel like you've known them all of your life. Highly recommended. BTW , I never got used to not seeing any willow trees there though , mostly pines.

Ya'll come back to Bama anytime, some good folks here! Yes we have lots of pines, but you should see forests full of hardwoods, esp with turkeys running through them. This is beautiful state, esp for the outdoorsman. Look me up when you head this way!
