This comment right here is why you seldom see me post on TFF anymore. I have been a member since 2002 and did most of my 1600+ posts in the first 3-4 years. Past 4-5 years seems to be a lot of D@$*heads on here. Sad but this Forum is not what it used to be.

Slim does sarcasm a lot on here, don't take it personal.

Kenny you don't have to call me a D@$*head . I have feelings you know. For crying out loud the man had a fish break him off. I was just giving him a little sympathy.
And as will all know the only thing certain in life is that everything changes. Next thing you know is they are going to be pumping water from Fork to Tawakoni to Lake Lavon and Ray Hubbard .

Sometimes comments are taken the wrong way on here, because we as a society are a much faster moving bunch,we sometimes make comments on the internet that are taken the wrong way and were meant as no harm,a little hammer banana lol_2 emoticons used to be used alot but not so often anymore, would make a big difference in responses and someone picking on a friend are someone they see on here alot. This forum is what yall make it,yall rule the roost so to speak so if yall allow this stuff without calling people out for there remarks and making them explain, then everyone loose's.
Just my2cents
While im on my soapbox, remember some of these new folks are kids and not forum oldies who know it all,so with that be thoughtful and answer some of there questions, they are just trying to learn something new,i remember alot of you when you first came on having alot of questions and getting answers, once again this forum is what yall make it,we as mods just try to keep the peace as best as possible, some off yall get very angry at us at times, but you have to remember we have seen alot over the years, and we know whats going to go south pretty much from the start,so dont get upset if we remove something that you thought was relative to the forum, its just we have seen the responses already and pretty much know when it starts down hill, yall have total control on what you click to open and read and pretty much know before you open something how your going to respond.
Thanks
Stan B.

Also, sad to see a large area of new development and tree removal in a previously pristine area. I don't blame anybody for doing that, but it's just sad-so many shoreline areas developed. Guess I wish things would never change.

Doc unfortunately as we grow older so do our lakes and i know you have seen alot of change over the years just as i have,

It's cool Slim! I'm sure you are an awesome guy!
I'm brushing up on dock fishing skills!
Luckily you are not defined by your post, as also I am not bothered by it in the least.
Yes I was referring to North of the ditch.
I HATE losing big fish, but they are big for good reason.

Doc I apologize for my actions. The post is not what I expected when I read and opened the thread. I was thinking of a lot worse case scenario . And was glad this was all the sad news . But being a smart [censored] from way back I just wrote what I was thinking . I will try to be a more kind and gentle person.
And you noticed I said TRY.
