He is a douche. One day he came hauling down to me in his golf cart asking why I didn't pay. I told him the weekend prior, I had put a $10 bill in there because it was the lowest bill I had. I felt it was more of an honorable deal. He said, ya I remember seeing that in one of the envelopes. About a month later, I took two friends fishing. Both of them went and put the $3 in the box without the other knowing. The guy pulls up in his golf cart and says to me "are you going to pay"? At that time one of my friends said. " I just put in the money", then my other friend said "I did too!" They were both trying to be discrete with me because I usually won't let anyone pay for anything. The guy goes over to the box and opens it up and says " yep, they're right" then takes off not even offering one of them their money back. He definitely has a chip on his shoulder. If his ramp wasn't convenient to my land, I wouldn't use it as often. But, I have to admit, with his "chip" that he has, I kinda feel like my truck is more secure....

I launched their one morning, put my envelope with cash and my license plate on it in the box only to come off the lake saying that I needed to pay him. I went and chased him down on his tractor and demanded an explanation. I got on his case about leaving a note that I needed to pay him when I already did; said he must have over looked it, weird dude and not making many friends!!!

Well I have to say there is no reason for rude behavior but I would like to hear all the stories from ramp owners at Lake Fork on what they have had to put up with. I bet it is a bunch. I have seen enough to know they put up with a lot. Some people can tear up a brass monkey in a padded cell and they think their $3 fee covers anything they want to do. Look at both sides before bashing guys. I would love to hear what Cameron has to say about the goings on at Lake Fork Marina.
