wow i hope thats not the one we released in June that weighed 13.77, that would suck that you killed it since the only reason you would have caught it is because it was released for someone else to enjoy the experience and it unfortunatley ended with you. Anyway something to think about next time.

It is true though if you caught it its yours to do as you wish, just sorry you didnt get the experience of releasing a 13lb bass cause truthfully it was better than catching it. If it is the same fish then sorry to everyone else that it wasnt passed on for you to enjoy also.

cd, Its great that you catch and release and so do we 99.9% of the time. But this was his fish of a lifetime, caught legally, for him to do as he wishes. As far as replicas, hell I missed a 15-16lber. two years ago. Didn't get that one to the boat. I'm sure I could have told the taxidermist she was 30X24, 19 lbs. My fish,my trophy. LMFAO thats crazy you mount a bass you catch while crappie fishing thats as "gay" as mounting a deer you hit with your car.

LOL, I don't think its exactly the same. Maybe its the same as mounting a coyote you shot while deer hunting. It takes more skill to land a lunker like that on crappie gear than bass tackle.
