So I've been looking for a good drop shot rod and have narrowed it down to two. Can ya'll give some input on the Falcon Lowrider LFS-2-169 vs. the Dobyns Micro Savvy SSM 692SF, or another rod in that price range to pair with my stradic ci4+? Thanks a lot guys!

Between those two I would say the lowrider. Also you might want to look a duckett In that range.

Cabelas has a drop shot specific rod in their USA made American TXS line. I recently bought one on sale for $100 (regular price is $150). I haven't fished with it yet, but my initial impression is that the rod has excellent sensitivity.

I like using the 6'9" medium action Elite Tech rod by Fenwick. This rod is light and very sensitive with its extra fast action tip. This rod delivers the bait very well and has the right amount of backbone to help bring those fish to the boat.
