I'm planning on spending the weekend with my father in law. He lives close to lake coffee mill, and have heard they are spawning. Neither one of us have fished for crappie much. We are stuck to the bank. Any one have any tips.? Thanks in advance.

I would greatly appreciate some bank fishing advice for crappie as well. Anywhere in the area actually. I know crappie is best fished using a boat.... just don't want to miss out on the fun. Hope to get good advice here.
Thanks!

If you are not experienced with jig fishing, bring minnows. Fish 2' under a cork, cast 15 feet out from the bank. fish early am or an hour before sunset. good luck! be sure to tell all your friends that: There aint no fish in Coffee Mill Lake!!!
