Planning a trip to Laguna Madre this weekend. Plan is to put in at Bird island and fish the king ranch shore line.
Any one fished the area lately?
Any fish?
Any tips?
It's been a lot of years since I fished there.

Before you head to the krs go south past the last of the no boat bouys and spoil. (pls dont shoot through the bouys)Fish a purple/chart usual suspect swimbait along that boat lane everyone likes to haul it down. Steady retrieve and wait for the thump.
