Looking to hit Fork for some crappie/catfish this weekend and curious if the crappie are still shallow anywhere on the lake?

We found a few, but the catfish and gar had most of the shallows to themselves. And a few bass also.

I just saw there is a crappie event on Fork tomorrow so i can understand folks being tight lipped. Im taking my wife and son and will not be in the tourny. If you guys would be so kind as to PM me some depths where the crappie are it would be much appreciated. Im not a bridge fisherman so really just want to find them in a creek i can tie up to a stump. Catfish are good too just need some fish for a cookout. Thanks

Been catching a few about 8' down no matter what the water depth is. Graph the shad catch the fish feeding on them. Been catching catfish in the same spots on punch bait

Well I didn't just tear them up but I did manage 8 nice slabs. Went as far south as I could looking for cooler water and found em stacked in 15' of water in a few brushpiles. I tossed several around 10'' thinking minimum was 12". Lol yeah I'm not a crappie fisherman. But learning.
