Community Lakes, Ponds in City Parks, and the lakes in the DFW area will have Bluegill in them. The Gills are active. You may also want to check Google earth. It will show you bodies of water in your area. Also you can use the internet to locate parks with lakes. It's a good thing taking your kids fishing. Let us know how you do. Debusk Park 1625 Gross Rd, Mesquite, TX its got a bathroom , water faucet , Dairy Queen right next door . a nice play ground when he gets tired of fishing . and that creek has tons of sunfish and a few nice bass too. 32.784176, -96.631500
