Hi all, want to take my 6yr old boy camping for a 2 day one night trip. I would like to take my 17ft boat and his small 90cc ATV. Since this will be a quick trip would like to stay fairly close to Ft Worth (hr drive).
Are there some places we could camp for the night, fish and ride a little? When I say ride I mean around the campground or small trail. We can fit on it together so just putting around. Oh good fishing would be a bonus.
Looks like the state parks don't allow ATV's?

If state parks don't allow ATV's that might be a problem. If they do allow them my vote goes to Purtis Creek state park. Great Lake and park. That's all I got, hopefully someone else knows of a good place.

Fishermans point on Richland chambers at one time had a few atv running around. They have trailer hookups, cabins and you can tent camp. Good sandbass fishing a short boat ride
Better give them a call before going to check on atv
