I am fishing ray Roberts tmrw. Have not been in a really long time. Does anyone know if the ramps (Jordan park or buck) are ok to launch. I normally go to texoma but since the lake is going low I was wanting to try new areas. Are the fish still in spawn or have they moved off. Any info would be great. Thanks again

When did Jordan close? I launched last weekend without issue.

All ramps are open but with North and Northwest winds forecast for the next couple of days, I would suggest for safety reasons that you launch at the Buck Creek ramp or go the north Johnson Branch State Park entrance ramp to launch.

Jordan can be a tough launch in all this wind. I have seen waves coming over the transom and swamping boats more than once out there....

North wind is bad for Jordan and IDB State Park launches. Buck and Johnson State Park and the Marina are ok for North wind launching.

ON? Awwww, now you spoiled it for the locals! I would certainly avoid the weekends if I could. As a matter of fact, Friday through Monday the fish are pretty much shellshocked by buzzing bass boaters coming in and dropping on those sweet mean bass.
