Hair dryer. Then WD 40 for the glue or goof will take the glue off also.

Sharp razor blade is what I used this is a horrible suggestion. Do not use a razor blade on fiberglass. Use some heat and a plastic putty knife or a good Teflon squeegee(this is what I use on a daily basis). I recommend 3m general purpose glue remover. It's a red and white can.

Razor blade will work fine if you know how to use it. Just keep it flat and it won't damage anything. Then some goof off, everything 3m is over priced except for 5200, that stuff is legit.

I just removed all the unwanted decals on my boat last week and the razor blade and goof off worked just fine for me with no damage. Thats all i was saying no need to get defensive.

If you did happen to mess up a little then just stick the new number over your goof.

I would use a 3m rubber wheel and cordless drill and then wipe off the wheel will take off everything.

Use a blow dryer to heat the vinyl a little. Pull the letters off. There will be some adhesive left behind. Use Goo Gone on the adhesive, it is an orange oil that softens the adhesive. Use a plastic spatula or similar item to scrap off the adhesive. After the adhesive comes off, use rubbing alcohol to get the Goo Gone off the boat.
