I think you need more resistance up top. Rarely do I have fish drag jugs, they will fight till they are whooped against the jug and never really try to move it. I don't like the noodle jugs because they are expensive and a pain to make when stolen which will happen, and they are not near as buoyant as a gallon bleach jug. If you use a gallon jug a 20 pounder will barely be able to pull it under for short periods of time, ie seconds but one of those noodle jugs will be under for a while. In timber filled lakes you will loose a lot.

no need to search for white noodles. Get whatever color you can find and wrap it in white duct tape. $5 fix at Wal Mart!

I'm going to try both. Make a set with 4oz weights on the noodles I have. Then make up a few bleach jugs with 4oz weights. Bait them up with shad heads and buffalo and see what happens. Thanks guys
