Hey guys- Well, we just had our annual fishing trip to Cedar Creek this past weekend, and as usual, we went out with BigCrappie.com. It was our 3rd year using them and again, Chuck got us out there and on the crappie. Due to this time of year, the crappie seemed to be confused as to where they needed to be, they started off shallow but as the sun got higher in the sky we started finding them on brush piles. We never found that one spot that would serve as a 'honey hole', instead our strategy was to go to a brush pile and snag the 2 or 3 aggressive crappie on that pile and move on to the next. We did find a few schools of dinks here and there that kept the action fun and hot, and a big 'ol Flathead that got the big fish award for the day. The weather was excellent and the fishing was great. We ended back up at Chuck's dock with 86 crappie and a few unlucky white bass, haha. Big thanks to Chuck, Layne and the crew at BigCrappie...see ya next year! Dale

Yeah, it took my buddy 10 minutes to reel that monster in - on 6lb line. I'm really surprised it didn't snap, originally he thought he was hung up on brush, but then it started moving and the fun began, haha!
