What is best line to use for frogs. Braided, fluorocarbon #test?
I have used the spider 15 and it seem to wear down after a trip out on the water and I afraid I will loose that one big fish when it decides to take it. I don't use mono for it , can't seam to get the hooks set with all that stretch. Any input would be great!

I prefer 30 pound test! Let's me work the frog a lot easier vs. 65 pound test.

I use 20lb mono or 65lb braid.

Prefer the braid.

40# braid. Not fishing a lot of grass or pads.

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

50-65lb Power Pro is the way to go. Be careful with spiderwire. . .it's not what I would call good, quality line. It's broke a lot of hearts. . .

I like 50 lb braid and when the big ones are finicky I like to throw on a few feet of flouro as a leader. Sometimes that makes all the difference for me.

65# Power Pro Braid. Braid will cut through grass.
