As you know the Little Elm ramp has been torn up and there is a new one being built. I was there on 4/19/14 and took a few photos, I estimate the end of the new ramp to be 8 feet below the current lake level of 514.3.

Any idea when it will be open to use?

Are they getting rid of the old ramp completely? And moving ramp over by the bridge?
That's what it looked like the last time I was there, which was the weekend before they shut it down.
They sure are doing some nice work to the park.

At full pool, only part of it will be out of the water. As levels drop, it will still allow access to the lake unlike many of the cramps we have now

Very true. I didn't think about how low the lakes are currently.

Also. This is a pretty good time to get it done. The lake is low. I'll be happy when it's opened. I refuse to pay

Anybody recall how much the fees to use the LE ramp are now?

Old ramp gone and an expanded swim beach takes that area. Ramp fees are $10 non-resident, $5 resident. Annual $75 non-resident, $25 resident. On Lake Lewisville. If you launch here must be aware of heading south of the bridge during low lake times. Shallow sand bars on the East and prop busting stumps on the West. Have to find the center area. Due to open May 1st.

They need to do the same thing on north side of Hubbard I30 bridge but never will because Dallas will not spend the money.

Can anyone confirm if it opened today? I'm wanting to launch tomorrow and it's closer than pier 121 for me.
