Wind was out of the East which is not a good sign, but was able to land 21 fish, which included 20 white bass and 1 crappie. I kept 17 whites plus the crappie. I spent the day trolling with two rods using crankbaits at 10 ft. I caught them both in the river channel and out on the flats over 30 foot of water.

There are only whites in Stillhouse, as far as I know, but I normally focus on the wind blown bends right now. I'm still fairly new to the lake so I don't know their full seasonal patterns, but I've been doing well right off Dana Peak and the point coming out of Union Grove. We also caught some nice fish coming out of the cove where the Dana Peak boat ramp sits. I have been out 5 times in two weeks have yet to not catch a fish leaving the ramp. You can head East from the ramp and fish the steep ledge coming out of the cove and then the point that is formed by the submerged trees that are just East of the ledge heading out into the open portion of the lake. That's about as far as I've gone fishing the lake so far. I've really haven't had a need to travel anywhere else. There are also some ledges on the Dana Peak side as you go towards the point off Union Grove that have been really good, and in the evenings the flats in 10 - 15 ft right off the Dana Peak swim beat have had a lot of feeding fish. If you fish that flat you will also catch a lot of largemouth. If you go farther into the river channel past Union Grove I've also caught a lot of largemouth as well. I caught 6 last night, and only one was 14 inches.

I do a mix of trolling, jigging, and just casting. It really depends on what they are willing to take. The wind has been up last few times I've been out so it has limited my jigging.

The water level is still down about 10 to 12 feet from normal lake level. Makes it learning the lake all over again a little if you don't fish it every year.
I was hoping to get the daughter on some schooling white bass about 2 weeks ago and the wind was blowing 12 to 17 out of the south/ South West gusting even higher. Didn't spot much on the side scan so we decided to leave.

Midday yesterday I had to start running 20ft down planers in the channel and it produced. After the first two hours yesterday I was able to locate fish fairly quickly even in that wind.
