We can't seem to find the crappie on Bob Sandlin. Were trying jigs all colors, minnows and fishing from the brush cover on the shores out to the small timbers in 4-8 ft. of water. Temp's or 62-67 degrees, move around to several areas just can't find the crappie. Is anyone out there catching crappie on Bob Sandlin? Think we will try Cypress Springs next Saturday.

I've never fished this lake but TPWD claims that crappie fishing is good on this lake.

Have you tried fishing the docks? TPWD states there are numerous docks and fishing piers on this lake.

Good Friday, My partner and I caught 35 and last Friday (4/25) we caught 23. Mostly males in 2-6 FOW with flooded grass and timber. Wood Retaining walls seem to hold fish especially if there was flooded grass nearby. Water temp was 68-71
