Fished Lake Arlington yesterday with Bill. Had to work for the 17 we kept, but most of them were nice fish about 12-15 inches. Most were females caught 8-17 feet deep around brush, but also caught one here and one there fishing a slip-cork, shooting a dock and fishing a steep drop off. Water temp was 70-72. Caught about 30 overall, including the dinks. All were caught on either white/chartreuse or black/chartreuse jigs.

Nice work cellis!

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

You did not do that bad, in fact the two of you took home more than enough for a meal.

Everybody I talked with yesterday stated they had to work for the ones they caught. All stated they were not in shallow but were in 8'-20' of water.

Bottom line, you spent a fun day on the water, you caught some fish and you had enough at the end of the day for at least one meal. thumb

Glad to hear you and Bill got on them. Me and dad were just talking about you two days ago when we were catching them shallow. Figured we should try some bps when the wind allowed us next time.
