Hello Crappie Fisherman. I don' post here because I don't chase them much anymore. Like the open lake. But like to share info. We have been getting alot of nice fish off the rocks. Seen alot of guys fishing next to rocks catching smalls but if you work out from rocks on damn then you get better fish. My buddy got a 3.04 pound crappie on a 3 inch sassy shad the other day.
The only advice I can say is they liked silver and white. I think they are staging off the rocks. Bites came between 10 15 feet with bait moving at average speed.

Just be safe wind has been bad.

i thought about trying that today myself last year about this time i noticed the same thing couldn't get it to work for me today but it is a great tip

No crappie today. We stayed off damn today but there were a ton of people. Guy we know said they were getting them on damn with small jigs. I don't know if any of any size. We fished humps by trees and zero crappie.
