Don't ask !!! You will get the homies stirred up and they will start all that whining again. That lake is to be kept a secret.

man I swear all these people who don't wanna tell you anything make me mad as hell. We just got back from bn up there for the entire week. We had a lot of luck throwing zoom 4 inch Arkansas shad albino and anything baitfish flukes in 1-4 feet of water worked just along and through the grassline. The key we found was water with grass in the 4 ft area and also grass that was standing alone by it self. Johnson creek in the very back was productive as you head into the creek go almost to the very back and start on the right side. We saw a few balls of fry and had some pop r luck but not real good. also had great luck in back of buckhorn saw one on a bed in the very back holding in 4ft of water. We fished the river and missed a 5lber on a red crawdad. also fished tejas back by the bridge just to the left of it with a frog and missed an easy 8lber throwing a kvd frog green with white belly. good luck and wish everyone was as informative as I hope I have been because ultimately you still have to catch the fish and we all know that it can change hr to hr day to day!

The frog bite has been great to me all day. Especially on secondary points with grass on them.

Mid lake creeks.are fished out and muddy has heck.looks like the bed fishing is over for the most part, you might find some stragglers. Spro frog didn't work for me today, caught most of our fish on a wacky worm. .

We were there through the weekend. We didnt do much fishing at all though. We did have a couple of trotlines out but they were very non productive.

We did see someone circle the island in buckhorn to the right a couple of times and said they were getting fish off of it. Im not sure of what they were throwing though.

Thanks everyone for the tips. We went this last Saturday and caught a few nice ones in Medlin Creek on flukes, and senkos. But on our way back to Alley Creek I slowed down for a boat coming north on the boat row. We were approaching the last dogleg turn headed to Alley, the approaching boat took the turn first and lost controll skipped on top of the water. When his boat caught the water it shot him right into my boat. He hit the left rod box area of my boat and went airborne over the top of us, between my driver console and my boAt motor. My wife and 6 yr old son was in the passenger and middle seat. His boat went over the top of them missing me. We all survived!!!!! His lower unit hit the side of my boat and the impact knocked his motor up smashing into his transom/ back deck area. I think that's what saved our lives. The game warden said there should have been a fatality in my boat. So always look out. And expect the unexpected. We had no where to go. I will post a pic as soon as I figure out how.

Notice the back seat is bent over, he went between my driver console and my motor over the top of my wife and son. My wife is beat up bad but nothing broke, thank The Lord for saving everyone's lives!!!!!! We were blessed. So please share my story. And please watch out for other boaters AND SLOW DOWN WHILE PASSING ON THE BOAT ROWS AND APPROACHING SHARP TURNS!!!!!!

I know you are very happy with the out come and it does look like the Good Lord was looking out for you and your family. I would also say doesn't look like much damage considering another 21' boat ran into and over. I wouldn't have guess with so little damage that another boat hit you hard enough to go over the top. That Phoenix must be a well built boat.
