Anyone willing to offer good striped spots at Texoma? Just a casual fisherman hoping to not waste time tomorrow driving all the way up for a few hours.

West and North seem to be what the consensus is. Water temps west by 377 bridge were 59 when I went Wednesday. I caught about 6 small ones and Kept three to eat. They were all males. I think the big girls went back out into the lake. If it would warm up and rain they might come back and spawn. If not, I doubt they will spawn this year.

There were lots of fish showing on my humminbird up there, but bites are few. It's just a weird year.

There have been lots of boats around 377 lately.

I have had no problems finding fish, but catching too many big ones, to get a limit most times. I did get a limit of nice fish recently (Sat) and am no where close to the west end, although I know they are getting some fish that way. Since we lost our live bait, I am fishing all artificial, even went to the Captain Macks umbrellas rig, and no problem getting fish each trip. My guide service is out of Little Mineral Resort. Good Fishing

Did the cold temps get the bait again? Any ramps open in Little Mineral?

Little Mineral ramp open. Concerning freeze and live bait. Have seen guides using Shiners due to shad die off. I have been using lures. Have seen what look like bait balls on graph -- though it was in 40' of water

I also see bait balls in deep water. I assume they should head to the shore to spawn soon since temps are in the 60s now. We will see. Can't get any consensus on if there was a shad die off. Seems nobody wants to say it. But it's obvious that there are fewer shad now.

Does anybody know if Lighthouse is open? I have a camp spot reserved for 5/23 - 5/25 in Preston Bend and I am trying to decide whether or not to cancel. Last year the ramp in the campground was closed and while it was a pain I used Lighthouse. Not much parking at Little Mineral or Lighthouse but I prefer Lighthouse.

Stopped by Lighthouse 2 days ago, the ramp was "open" and there was one boat trailer there but looked as if you are lauching on sand, can't imagine launching a boat of any size there now. I tooks pictures and sent them to some buddies on how low it is. Highport ramp was open but if it goes much lower I think their boat dock is gonna block being able to launch, already tight quarters.
