You will spend $500 getting your boat buffed out and all the scratch off of it. The big fish are in the jungles and it is worse enough on a calm day on any heavy cover lake.

I have fished in 35 MPH out there and it doesn't get rough but the wind swirls from every direction thru that canyon and makes it hard to fish but its still doable its just irritating.

I'm.not looking for the weekend, just this afternoon is all.. I was scheduled to go with a buddy on Monday but that's out due to the wind and front. If it wasn't going to be bad I would go this afternoon and run the boat. Haven't had it out since last may and have a amistad trip coming up in two weeks and like to dust off cobwebs the first trip somewhere closer..

You can run the boat just fine.

I usually go to the crappie dock and when the wind blows it sucks.. water looked pretty choppy when it was blowing 25mph.. but i never been out there on a boat in high wind.

It will be choppy but the lake doesn't get real big rollers like other lakes. Everyone is right the wind will seem to be blowing from every direction. It might not be much fun but you still can safely fish.

Wind was kicking pretty good at lunch..I hate wind. Guess I live in a bad location for that. Fishing buddies had other obligations today, guess I'm gonna put the trip off till next wk. I have to go to brownwood next wk, may just take the boat then and fish lake brownwood.. I will keep this info in mind for next time at Alan henryy tho.. thanks for the replies..
