Greetings,
I have a 22' Pontoon boat and I need a trailer for maintenance and just in case the lake levels go further down. I heard from multiple people (dealer included) that there are folks out there who make trailers that are good enough for use a few times a year. They may not be perfect, but they get the job done.

With that said, now that I'm trying chase down the people who do it - everyone seems to have forgotten who it was that they knew. I wanted to ask if anyone knows of anyone that either makes or sells inexpensive trailers for use 1-3 times a year.

Any help is appreciated.

Thank you

My son had the same problem a few years back and looked everywhere for a new or used trailer without any luck at all. Finally sold the pontoon to a friend of mine that had to buy a new trailer to get it home. Cost was around $2k if I recall correctly.
It seems a lot of people purchase pontoons without trailers since they plan to leave them in the water most of the time. Some boat shops keep one for just this reason. All I know for sure is they are rare as hen's teeth!

Thanks for the feedback OkieBob - sort of helps confirm that I'm not totally crazy yet. smile

What I'm seeing is 1995 from an unknown (to me) company and then 3195 from the factory (tandem axle, w/brakes...etc - getting what you pay for generally.) Just not the overly cheap trailer everyone seemed to know about. haha funny how that works.
