Me and a buddy fished EM from 430-730 and managed over 100. We stopped punching the clicker at 100 and continued fishing. Kept a limit rest went back. Got a bonus fish too, caught a 30 inch flat head. Only the second one I have caught... There a lot of fun on a 7 ft med action spinning rod...lol. Took me 10 minutes to get her up, she was released to have her babies.

Sounds like fun! Nice job. You never know what kind of fish you may pull off the humps, especially in the summer. I pulled a 20+ flat head on an Ole ugly last year(what an unexpected blast) and always plenty of large mouth too.

follow up since cleaning fish. the females were more numerous and the eggs had some big thick red veins in them.
