I had to change out my transducer on my HB 587, for some reason it is showing a depth of 287' regardless. When you change it out is there something that you have to re-set on the unit? I mounted it exactly where I took the old one off. It's tough fishing sometimes with out knowing the depth, lol

You shouldn't have to do anything for it to work properly. Is it mounted externally or shooting through the hull? Why did it have to be replaced? Need more info to give you proper advice.
