Easter Weekend, 2014 Good Friday, Kemah, late afternoon, the wind calmed down, the schools of mullet came up. Along with the mullet, so came the schools of Redfish ripping through them. Classic Galveston Bay, schools of Big Redfish action. You could watch the backs of the Redfish cutting through the surface of the water, ripping through pods of mullet that would cover a football field. When the conditions are right, the fishing can be awesome. The Redfish put on a show for over an hour. You could hear the Roller Coaster at the Kemah Boardwalk, did not seem to bother the Red Fish Frenzy. If you are lucky enough to be at the right place at the right time, you will see some very impressive acts of nature.

Launched under the kemah Bridge, there is a boat ramp under each side.

Did you head towards clear lake or to the opposite way into the bay after you launched?.we were going to go towards kemah Friday morning but we are not familiar with that area so we went to north trinity. .

what kind of bait are you using? everytime i try to target reds i always come up weet sheepheads... i see people on jettys come out with monster bulls but im stuck with my toothy sheeps. any advice
