Kinda iffy from what I hear Stephen. This rain might have helped!

No way. I have a friend who had to get out of his kayak and push it out. I haven't been able to get my Lund up there for 2 years. I wouldn't try it even in a flat bottom unless the lake comes up 2 feet.

I'm dodging in like the plague until the move to brushpiles and timber.

I'll second that. I've been after them for the last 3 weeks. I've caught some nice ones but I have not found any shallow. It's been 2 or 3 hear and there no pattern. Most have come from 12 feet of water. Fished in the timber today for 5 hours and caught 2 fish. Water temp was 66. I really thought they would be shallow this week but I can't figure them out. bang

I agree about no pattern. Could not get any shallow today. Picked up 4 nice ones at BP's about 12' deep. Black/char rocky tops worked best. Had about a dozen throw backs. They were all females, but the egg sacs were pale yellow like they were being absorbed.

there'd be a shortage of fishing poles
