Guys, I'm typically fishing out of my boat but have opted to go with a bunch of friends on a kayak trip to Caddo. We will be camping at the state park.
None of us have any experience on the lake. Last time I fished it was 2001. I would really appreciate any tips on baits, areas or patterns that we can reach by Kayak. I am not looking for honey holes or coordinates, We don't mind moving ramps or areas that we can access. Please feel free to PM me if you prefer.

Thanks in advance,

JJ

"Headin' down river. A little canoe trip, headin' for Aintry."

"You done taken a wrong turn"

Sorry JJ, but Caddo and that movie just go together.

Coincidence is His way of remaining anonymous.

Watermelon seed Zoom Super Fluke, fairly light line, right on the tree, slow, in the scattered stands of trees in a little more open water. That's all you need. Going this weekend all the way from Lubbock. Nothing like it.

In remembrance of my lifelong friend Jerald, king of the topwaters on Lake Fork...2nd to none....In God's care and our hearts.

Regards,
Clay

Shoot from Lubbock to Caddo? That's like the difference in dying and living. I was born and grew up in Lubbock. We would take fishing trips to east Texas. I was so excited and it was beautiful!! Then on the trip back home to Lubbock I had deep depression overwhelm my body as we got closer to the land of blowing dust and no lakes. Graduated from Tech and I was GONE!...LOL! Have fun on Caddo!!
