No way. I have a friend who had to get out of his kayak and push it out. I haven't been able to get my Lund up there for 2 years. I wouldn't try it even in a flat bottom unless the lake comes up 2 feet.

I'll second that. I've been after them for the last 3 weeks. I've caught some nice ones but I have not found any shallow. It's been 2 or 3 hear and there no pattern. Most have come from 12 feet of water. Fished in the timber today for 5 hours and caught 2 fish. Water temp was 66. I really thought they would be shallow this week but I can't figure them out.

I agree about no pattern. Could not get any shallow today. Picked up 4 nice ones at BP's about 12' deep. Black/char rocky tops worked best. Had about a dozen throw backs. They were all females, but the egg sacs were pale yellow like they were being absorbed.
If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles
