For all you ignorant Texas fans pointing fingers at the Sooners and calling them the chokemeisters: how many national championships has UT won? Specifically, how many championships (Big XII or National) since Bob Stoops took over as head football coach at OU? How many games has UT won against OU since Stoops took over? Choking has been a Mamma Brown UT special (despite his loaded roster) until last year (1 outa almost 10 ain't bad, right). And until Vince Young can pass the ball with something even resembling proficiency (don't hold you're breath), Texas has no chance of being a championship contender. Vince Young is a phenomenal athlete, but a mediocre at best quarterback. He's one of the most over-hyped players in years. He's not even the best quarterback in the Big XII South. That title belongs to Reggie McNeal, and Vince Young won't take it from him unless he improves as a passer about 15,000%. Right now, odds are that Vince will go pro as a receiver or athlete, not as a quarterback. He simply doesn't make good reads or throw a good ball.

I'm not even an OU fan, and I can't stomach the blatant and offensive hypocrisy that is a UT fan calling OU out on choking. OU's complete and utter dominance of UT in recent years has you crazy orangebloods on tilt, and reality is not within your perception.

Please don't cry.....I hate when grown men cry. And who ever said I was a UT fan? Not me. So your blubbering has no merit. Wake up and smell the choke. I only stated a fact. I only gloated because of the arogance displayed by not only the OU fans, but OU (players themselves). That's all I have to say. See you at the Cotton Bowl.

That's Right!!!

Earlier this year I was working the Oklahoma Tackle Show promoting our book and was getting alot of razzing by some of the OU fans there. This one guy kept saying "Our guys beat your guys" over & over. I finally replied that "Well at least our BASS can eat your bass". He was at a loss for words, but his buddy (who was from Texas) almost fell on the floor from laughing so hard.

Gee, I thought this post was originally about a nice catch. Why is everybody getting pissed off about a shirt?

Sometimes we like football a little TOO much. It's funny to me how much we let what some college guys with Oklahoma or Texas on their shirts do, whether winning or losing, effect us. I couldn't sleep for hours after the Orange Bowl last year and I was just watching it on tv. As long as we remember to keep it in perspective it can be good fun to mess with each other.

Oh yeah, nice bass! That is certainly a good memory to have with your Dad.
