The wind didn't blow as much as the weather report said it was going to Saturday so it took us a little more time to find the blues. Had to work for them & fished several spots. We ended up with 77 cats between 5 guys, mostly blues with a few channels thrown in there. All fish were caught on fresh shad that I caught that morning on wind blown banks. All in all pretty fun day with coworkers. They had a blast. Didn't get as many pics as I would have liked to but I snapped this one before my phone went dead.

Not sure if they are still open or not but I do know there wont be any water there now.

I believe the only ramps open are Oak Cove & Fisherman's Point

There is another new marina that just opened.
Sunset Cove Marina has a new 3 lane boat ramp and can launch quite easily all 3 lanes currently as was completely dredged out this summer. $5 to launch. Address is 3001 Fm 2859. Phone # 903-274-2300. From Corsicana go toward the lake on HWY 287, left on HWY 635, then Right on 2859, 4 miles down the road and on the left. If you cross the bridge, gone too far.
No boat gas, so fill up in town.
One you build and fish with your own hand built custom rod you will fish with nothing else!

+1 on Sunset Cove, this is a new owner from last year. He is currently 3 1/2 to 4 ft. deep at the ramp, in the cove and out to the lake. They are putting in RV sites as well as camp sites. Wont be a big place but at least it opens up some new options for fishing the North end of the lake.
